# eth\_getBlockTransactionCountByNumber

Returns the number of transactions in a block matching the given block number.

#### **Parameters:**

**QUANTITY|TAG** - integer of a block number, or the string "latest"

#### **Returns:**

**QUANTITY** - integer of the number of transactions in this block.
